Just want to throw this out there and see what you guys think. I think 6 D is too many but I'm sure other disagree.

Interesting poll. I didn't vote because you left out the option that I would choose. 5 D and 2 starting Goalies. No utility.
With that said, I'm happy with the roster setting as they are.

If we are going to change anything I would say have 2 starting goalies.

I voted to leave as is. But, I'd love to see 6 D and 2 starting G.

I'm not in favour of dropping 1 of the Ds seeing how we just added 1 more in a vote in May.
As for a utility position, we used to have one in the old IFHL, but it was killed when we moved here to the GMHL. I am not in favour of a utility position at all, as it is a bastardization of any fantasy league as far as I'm concerned. When the NHL goes to a utility position, then we should do thee same.
A utility position, imo, is a just a lazy man's excuse to try and get more of your stats in for your team without having to wheel and deal to get the players for the positions that are already there.
2 goalies over 16 teams is kind of hard to do as there are only 30 teams you can get a number 1 goalie from. Quite frankly, there are what, 8-10 teams you may not even want a starting goalie from as they are not a good option for getting decent fantasy stats. I also worry about having too much emphasis on the G position.
1 goalie allows or should allow every team to at least get a pretty good goalie. They aren't stuck scrambling every week trying to find goalie starts and they should at least be pretty competitive.
Most teams already have 2 starters and goalies are already a pretty hot commodity. Adding another goalie just pushes this out that much further and shoots their value right through the roof.

Utility? That's baseball. I see forwards, dmen, and goalies in hockey. Who plays that position on the ice?
