As Lucas has pointed out, the wording in my last poll was not what was intended. I locked that poll because our league rules already state that we have a maximum of 30 FA acquisitions in a season. This means you can add a maximum of 30 players to your roster. Trades do not count against this total.
Like I said earlier, this was another hot button topic amongst the GMs in the GMHL. Should we be limiting the number of player transactions per week. Some guys feel that this isn't needed because the maximum amount of FA players you can add in the year is already set to 30 total and this should suffice in preventing streaming.
Others strongly believe that we should limit the amount of transactions because it evens the playing field in the weekly matchups. A team should gain the week's win based upon their team and not by how many players you can rotate through your roster in a week.
Please note that this number of weekly transactions would include players called up from your farm team.
