Well guys, another season in the G has ended.
Time for some housekeeping:
- All teams need to be roster compliant by 12:00 noon Eastern on Saturday April 22, 2023.
- We're looking at doing the draft lottery via Zoom that same day, sometime after the noon deadline on April 22nd.
- We're going to restart the G, that is, open it up to free agency and trades at 6:00 p.m. Eastern on Sunday April 23, 2023.
We're going to do the restart of the G a little differently this year. Instead of being a free-for-all at 6:00 p.m. Eastern, all GMs can sign no more than 1 player in the first hour. If another GM signs the same player you tried to land at 6:00 p.m. you can simply choose 1 other unsigned FA until 7:00 p.m.
Since he has been mostly MIA and extremely hard to get ahold of, I've advised Lucas that we're terminating his franchise. Depending on how long it takes to replace him, this may push back our deadlines.
Since the league is running very well, we're not looking at changing any of the rules, but we are open to ideas should anyone really want to discuss any possible rule changes.
