Legs releases Fleischmann and signs Patrick Eaves of the Dallas Stars. Flash just hasn't done enough since being acquired by Anaheim to be part of Legs playoff run. Hopefully Eaves can step up this week with the top 6 time he's been getting.

Scored just as much as Fleischmann did in 3 weeks....in one night. Seems like Legs management made the right choice, even if they can't overcome being a big underdog in Round 1. |

Following the trend of the day in dropping useless players, Legs releases Jeff Petry.
He was worth the flier after he was traded but no points in over a month doesn't help in playoffs. Legs management feels they can get the peripherals elsewhere from Borowiecki, Despres, and de Haan....among others lol.

With an open roster spot, Legs GM gives a one day contract to Ales Hemsky of the Dallas Stars. Probably pointless and waste of a move, but it's the playoffs so who knows..... Haha

Legs drops both Hemsky and Eaves to make room for Malkin(finally...meh) and an extra spot for my farm player.

Legs GM drops Haula, just not good enough to stay on the roster anymore and a waste of a roster spot. Time to move on....

Legs management has decided to sign Mike Reilly of the Columbus Blue Jackets(for now). Management feels he's worth the flier considering he led the NCAA in scoring by a defenseman. Also, a LOT of teams will be lining up for his services if the Jackets are not be able to sign him(which I see happening). May very well turn out to be Schultz 2.0, but better lol. Welcome to the team Reilly!!
