Anth approached me a few weeks back and asked me to consider adding an additional IR+ spot for the upcoming season. He told me we should consider this because there was a very good chance that some players may end up missing some games if they are exposed to COVID-19 and have to quarantine.
This makes sense because we've seen players sit out in other leagues, so it could happen in the NHL too.
Ry, Mike and I discussed this addition of another IR+ spot this afternoon. We agreed that it was a good idea to implement for this season only.
I don't think this really requires a vote, but if you guys really want to put it to a vote, we certainly can.
If there really isn't any opposition, I'll go ahead and add an additional IR+ spot for the 2021 season. This will also be implemented in our sister league.
