Hey boys so I know we made this league to get away from Tony as commish and to make it the same as IFHL, but I noticed that SOG was added as a cat, we switched up the farm system to GP, and now you have to have 3 goalie starts per week. All of those seem fine to me, but I think we should implement all of those next year as some people who have built their teams may get screwed over by that or atleast have a league vote to have them implemented this year. Just my 2 cents.
Thanks, Lucas Boston GM

Lucas:
You can definitely start a poll so that we get a consensus here. Whatever you guys collectively decide is fine by me.
Glenn and I thought it might be best to forgo one season with the old farm team eligibility and then the switch in favour of implementing this now.
I suggested we go with 3 goalie starts and drop the saves category for goalies because I believe we have way to many cats for the goalies. After thinking about it for a few days now, I am somewhat worried that some teams may not be able to reach their 3 starts per week, so now I'm kind of torn. I would think that either the Saves cat comes back or we go with 3 starts per week.
SOG was added because I discussed this with another GM a few days back and it seemed like a relatively good idea as well. It is more of a standard cat, adding this puts less emphasis on the goalie stats and everyone is pretty much at a level playing field as no one really attempted to use this stat in drafting their teams.
Whatever way you guys want to go is fine with me. I just want a consensus on things we do because it is everyone's league. I may lead the discussions somewhat and I may try to influence the decisions some what, but really I'm only going to implement what the majority want... so speak up guys.

Yeah the goalie issue was the biggest one of my concern. I figured we would move on over to the GP system next year anyway, but if it's this year thats okay with me too, just don't know how other managers feel about it. Same with SOG, I don't really mind either way.
