the playoffs should start a week earlier or last two weeks as it does not affect all teams equally.

No. Personally, I want to play to the end of the season and not stop a week earlier. We do this in one of my leagues and I don't like it at all because my league is over and the final match ups are still underway in all my other leagues.
I really don't think there is much of an impact if we keep ending the season on the last week of the regular season either, but that is just my opinion.
My preference has always been a 2 week final. If Yahoo ever offers it again, I'd definitely prefer this option.

I voted No. If I could vote to extend our season throught the NHL playoffs, I'd do that too.

start a week early. i am in two pools that play the final week and players sitting plays a huge role in the outcome. i draft a team with players in mind and when it comes to the finals my first three draft picks are sitting on the bench when i need them? it sucks. i have lost pools because of it. the pool i run is a one year deal and we went to one week earlier a few years ago and it was one of the better moves. now the best team available plays the whole championship week.

as for a one week or two week final i really don't care either way as long as the final week doesn't involve the final week of the nhl schedule.

I voted to start it a week earlier but it shouldn't be 2 weeks long, only 1 week. You'll just have players sitting the final week and thats why this topic was put to a vote in the first place.

Love moving playoffs up to avoid studs resting down the stretch. Fantasy leagues do it in football, baseball and basketball for this exact reason.
